Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Masroof. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app. Masroof is a personal tool for recording income, expenses, savings, and bills; it is not a financial institution.

1. Permitted use

You may use Masroof to manage your personal budget on your devices in accordance with applicable law. You are responsible for the accuracy of the numbers, categories, and dates you enter and for reviewing each transaction before confirming it.

2. Not financial advice

The amounts, summaries, and reminders shown by the app are organizational information only. Masroof does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice and does not guarantee that calculations are appropriate for your circumstances. Verify information independently and consult a professional when needed.

3. Data and backups

The app works locally, and you are responsible for securing your device and for the backups you export, where they are stored, and who receives them. Deleting the app or losing the device may result in loss of local data unless you exported a backup.

4. Notifications and authentication

Notifications are optional and may be affected by operating-system settings or battery-saving modes. Biometric authentication uses your device features and does not replace device security or a passcode.

5. Intellectual property

Masroof, its interface, and its materials belong to their respective owners. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the app under these Terms. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or use the app to create a competing service without permission.

6. Device and third-party services

Export, sharing, files, notifications, and authentication may rely on operating-system services or apps you choose. Those services are governed by their providers' terms and policies. Masroof does not control their content or availability.

7. Updates and availability

We may change the app, discontinue a feature, or release updates for security or functionality. We aim to keep the app available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation on every device or operating-system version.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by incorrect input, a financial decision, device loss, data deletion, a damaged backup, sharing a file with another party, or an outage of a device service.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms and will change the update date at the top of this page. You may stop using the app and delete its data at any time. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
